Diesel Emissions
In newer year of diesels the emissions standards have risen very high. This drains power from nearly all engines, for the simple fact that the emissions has to go through many filters before it exits the tail pipe. The year of 2008 in dodge with the 6.7 has had many problems. The filter clogs up easily and to clean it out you have to drive the minimum speed of 65 mph. This truck would be terrible as a ranch or farm truck. because you hardly ever drive 65 unless you drive on the highway. When the filter clogs up and stays clogged it will eventually start you truck and everything around it a fire. There is an after market add on to by-pass the filter, and after you do this you will have a sustainable truck.
